BM gift, hair?

BM gift, hair?

I've googled this with mixed reviews.
BM gifts, I really thought it would be nice to gift them with hair done by my girl for the day of the wedding. My reasoning is almost all girls love getting their hair done but on top of paying for dresses, showers etc who can afford it. I've read that it can be poor etiquette that's not considered a gift, why? I would love this rather than some of the gifts I never use cause our tastes are different. What's your opinion?

Im not paying for their hair but I am paying for them to get their makeup done by my girl. I think its a good gift.

I paid for my own hair the last wedding I was in. To save time I went to my own hairdresser to get it done so I didn't have to get to the hotel at the crack of dawn to wait my turn. If you want to pay for hair and have it be part of the girls gift I don't see that being poor etiquette.
