My bridesmaids are all very different in the styles that they wear and lifestyles. I wanted to get the girls something that they will use and not just wear on the day of the wedding and shove into a drawer later. At first I thought about a nice piece of jewlery but one of the girls doesn't wear necklaces because her son is a baby that will pull on it when she holds him. A bracelet?...well the single girl said that it will be difficult for her to wear because she lives alone so who will help her with it. Tote bags forget it because it's not their style!

I know some people think gift certificates are impersonal, but I would personally love one. Especially one to a spa or for a massage. And you could tailor each one to each girl's taste. Just a thought!

that is weird about the single girl saying she can't wear a bracelet. No one helps me put on my bracelets....just sounded weird to not do it b/c of that one reason. anyway....I was thinking about getting ipod shuffles for the BP and maybe programming them with some songs that we all love. ??? I guess it depends on the girls you have if they are into that. I will prob. get them earrings too.

Sorry, but I have to laugh about the bracelet comment -- I can put on my own bracelets! (with extremely rare exceptions...)
Why not get them gift certificates so they can pick something out for themselves? A day at the spa? Bath and Body Works gift baskets (if they're into that sort of thing... personally not me at all!)
You don't HAVE to give them jewelry.

Maybe a wristlet from Coach or D&B? A nice pashmina? A really nice bathrobe? Travel kit from LL Bean?
ETA: I have no problem putting on bracelets by myself either. A bangle bracelet doesn't require any assist.

What about watches, www.cloud9living.com gift certificate (there they can pick their own adventure), spa gift certificates, something personalized from Things Remembered, personalized stationary, small crystal gift from Tiffany's, pashmina or Coach keychain or wristlet?

I plan on doing jewelery for them, but I am getting them all something different. It will NOT be day of jewelery, but something for them to remember whenever they wear it. They all have different tastes so I am getting different things. Could you get each of your bridesmaids a different piece of jewelery?
