So, while my mom was here we went to the Bass Outlet in Carle Place. We each got a tote bag...originally $24.99 and it was 70 % off...yep, $7.49. Well, I went back tonight and bought 8 for my BMs (see below)! What a great deal for a BM gift...I plan to fill it up with pedicure and manicure stuff (already have that and got great deals on that too!), flip flops and some other goodies!
My tiara I bought off a bride on ebay arrived today. It's a discontinued David's style...new price was $109, I got it for about $40!
And here are the hair pins I am putting in my curls which I got for about $10 on ebay....

Now I have 6 months to find deals to fill the tote with...I have a pretty nail file, one step pedicure and an 8 piece pedicure set so far...I am going to get nailpolish, manicure stuff and maybe DOJ if I find something affordable...

Aww, I'm sorry...I was having an emotionally 'blah' day...and FH and I walked out of the store to find this @sshole woman with her purse on the hood of my car and all the stuff out of it....she and her friend and their men were using my car as a desk...and scratched up my hood...so yeah, we had a huge fight with the [email protected] night in carle place was good...but very bad at the same time!

That is a great Idea. are you doing it like an activity bag during the reception also? I know kids tend to get bored and that might be a great thing to do for her.

my friends sister did the bag with the monogram on it....but for a friend of mine.....Long story short...her hubby and her were watching a tv show and the FH called his FB APE because that was her initials....welllll....my friends hubby was so jealous that her initials didn't work out that way since she was AEP......well wehn her sister went to get the bags done she was doing them the mongram way...hers would have been aPe.....well when everyone had their monogram bags and hers had her name on it a sense of dissapointment came accross her face that her sister noticed right away....she pointed out that hers would have said APE if she did it the other way....well her hubby was sitting there for the whole conversation since it took place at the rehearsal dinner and she has yet to live it down.....too funny that they never realized until that day she was aPe
