BM girls night tip _(this is a good one for T's slumber party!)
It's just like Cyndi Lauper sang back in the '80s: Girls just wanna have fun. So, why not invite your bridesmaids over and make a night of it -- fun, that is. A 'Girl's Night In' is a great way to thank your bridesmaids for being a part of your wedding party. Read on to learn the plans you'll need to create a successful sleepover.Invitations aren't mandatory, but they can certainly be a nice touch. If your sleepover has a theme, such as a beauty/makeover night, make your invitations match your theme. Using heavy paper, design each invitation like a different beauty accessory. Shape one like a lipstick tube and another like a hair roller.
Keep it simple. The whole point of the party is for friendly fellowship, so don't overwhelm your guests with too many scheduled activities. Here are some ideas for you to consider:
Hire a masseuse to come over and give head and neck massages.
Provide every guest with a 'beauty basket' filled with facial masks, nail polish, a nail file, a deep conditioning hair treatment, body lotion and an eye mask.
Hire a nail professional to come over and give manicures and pedicures to your guests. (If you go to a beauty school and hire a few of its students, you'll save some money.)
Rent sappy romantic comedies and watch several of them back to back.
Play a slumber party game like 'Truth or Dare' and laugh it up!
The night's menu will depend on your guests, so check out their food preferences. If all of your bridesmaids are dieting to squeeze into the slinky dresses you've chosen for the ceremony, accommodate them with fruit and salad options.
Or, you can make a rule for that night stating, 'No diets allowed.' Declare the night a 'calorie-fest' and offer chips, ice cream, brownies and anything else you've been craving. You all deserve to treat yourselves every once in awhile.
If you have a bridesmaid who's a single mom, offer to pay for her overnight sitter so that she can take part in the fun, and you can enjoy a kid-free evening with your friends. If you have out-of-town guests, make sure your buds are rested up enough to drive home the next morning. Lastly, have a lavish breakfast, ending your party with class and caring.
