Some of my bridesmaids want to wear their hair down, others up. Does it look better in pictures if they are all the same? I'm wearing my hair up.

My girls (all whopping two of them) keep asking me how I want them to wear their hair... I told them to wear whatever makes them comfortable.

I wouldnt stir those waters.. hair is a touchy thing and if you dont want to be called bridelzillas Id let them do what you want. I actually think it looks kinda scary if they are all cookie-cutter.

They can either wear it half up or all up! Each girl has their own style as long at is partially up is fine!

I am NOT making my girls have the same hairstyle. I told them... 'whatever you feel most comfortable in.' I know i hate to put my hair totally up...I wouldnt do that to anyone. JMO

I let my bms wear it however they wanted. I think it looks nice both ways. Really I wanted my girls to be comfortable and they are all SO different. Some wanted all down, some all up, some half and half. I know I personally don't really like my hair all up and would prefer to wear it half up half down or all down so I kept that in mind..
I don't care what their hair looks like I just want all their hair to be worn up but they could do any style they would like.

I'm going to tell them either all up or half up. We are taking pictures on the beach and I don't want windy hair pictures. Plus we are taking pictures before the ceremony, so I don't want the wind blown look for my ceremony. I think some direction is fine, but not all exactly the same.

I think it is better when everyone does their own hairstyle...It makes it look very nice in pictures...Plus some people don't like their hair up & you don't want to make them uncomfortable.

Not at all.........they can wear any way they like....Up? Down? Both?
Doesnt matter to me....Id rather someone be comfortable in how they look than me delegating what their hair should be like.....

my girls were not very good with doing what I wanted, so they all ended up with different styles. But it looked fine in the end.

i like things to look uniform..clean.. neat. but i had to bend over for one of my gals. she was very determined to have her hair down due to the acne on her back.

Same here, I'll try to post a pic or two (only three of them in second pic)....most had it up but my cousin wanted hers half up/half down, fine by me....I am not one for having things exactly the same.
I don't think the same style on everyone looks good, everyone is different. I say let them do what they're most comfortable with.

They all did whatever what was comfortable, I hjust told them not to look like me (I wore my hair 1/2 up 1/2 down)

i dont mind.. but im suggesting putting it up b/c of my summer wedding date and the whole day event - they should want to not botherbwith frizzy hair..

They get to choose their own shoes. they get to choose their own hairstyles. I think grown ladies should be given some choice in how they choose to present themselves. Its bad enough that most BP members don't choose their own dresses. I would hate if someone made me wear my hair up. I don't like it up. In fact, if FH didn't make this one request of me growing out my otherwise butchy buzzed haircut for the wedding, I'd be off to getting it buzzed off now. (Last night I told him that as soon as we get back from the honeymoon, it is coming all off again!!!)
