Be honest ladies, I was thinking about including this as part of my girls gift. Now, I have 7 BM's and I know that they are all going to want to get their hair and makeup done, but was thinking if this was not really considered a 'Gift' to them.
Also, for the girls that are doing this, are you telling them before hand that you are taking care of it or are you waiting until the rehearsal dinner?

I would get them a tote or something small and put a card in it saying that you are paying for hair and make up. I would wait until the rehersal dinner.

I actually ran this by a lot of my BM's and asked them, 'what would you rather have, a gift or for me to pay for your makeup and hair the day of the wedding?' Honestly, the majority, actually in fact, ALL of them said, 'a gift rather than hair and makeup' because a gift they can keep and remember our wedding day by! Most of them said, they were going to get their hair and makeup done that day anyway. I really thought most would want me to pay for their hair and makeup and was quite surprised of the outcome. Not sure how your girls would react to it. I guess mine were interested in getting a gift instead!

That is a wonderful gift b/c it gets expensive and it's useful... I would, as a BM, LOVE to get that as a gift!!!

Thats some chunk of change to be shelling out. To be honest, I saw what you bought them for day of jewelry, and that in itself was a great gift. My girls are paying for their hair and make-up on their own, with the exception of me paying for my MOH. If it won't hurt you money wise, than it should be considered a gift. HTH.

Tell me about it These girls are also hosting my shower for me, so that is another reason I was going all out for them.

I really think that is A LOT of $$$ for something (to repeat you) isn't 'really' for them. If you are going to spend that type of moola you should get them something they could use even after the big day.
Some of my BM's are using the ladies that are doing my hair and make-up and others aren't bc yup it's pretty damn pricey. I left that decision up to them.

I would not mind if the bride paid for my hair or makeup it saves me some expense but it is for your day its not really a gift but again its saves me money so I would not mind at all.
