I want my girls to have all the same style hair, I told them they all have to wear it all up, all half up half down, or all down. Do you think thats crazy? I just thought that if they all have diff hair styles my pics would look messy.
Does anyone have any pics of there bridal party?

I don't know... Im kinda torn myself... I have 2 years to decide... but I like the thought of having it all uniformed... but then agian I dunno if my girls would like to be told how to wear thier hair... Im sure they would do it for me regardless.. but i dunno...

Nope........I told them to all wear their hair however they feel most comfortable with. Also, I told them to get whatever shoes they are most comfortable in. It's just not my nature to demand people do something they might not feel comfortable with. And I trust my girls that none of them will show up looking foolish. I don't doubt for a second that they will all look beautiful and even more so because they got to pick what THEY felt comfortable in! JMO

I asked them to wear their hair down..I don't care if it's all out, in a low bun, ponytail, etc... as long as it's down...and I'm also buying them a gold hairpiece that I want them all to wear at the left side of their hair so that they could all be uniformed..

No, all my BMs chose their own hairstyles. They all have different hair lengths and textures, so even if I had wanted al of them to wear the same style, it wouldn't have been feasible.
I think the BMs will look good, not messy, with the styles best suited to their own features and hair types. IMHO, if they each have the same style, it looks too matchy-matchy.
If you want to have similar hair themes, for your BMs, why not have all of them do different updos, different half up/half downs, etc. as some of the other posters did? That will make the look consistent.

I let each girl chose how she wanted her hair. They all have such different textures etc, that asking them to wear it all the same would have been nuts.

yeah really think about your girls...See most of my bm's are tall, theyre almost all 5'9 and i know one of them REALLY hates her hair up bc she feels on top of having heels on she has her hair up which makes her feel even taller. Then some of them have curly hair, or shorter hair, very thin hair that if you put up you cant do much with...I have baby fine thin hair, and if i do an updo it looks kinda silly bc theres not much to it and my hair is long but still, i would need extensions or hair clips

i just said i didn't want anyone's hair all down or in their face....but the hair do was up to them....i dont think your being unreasonable if that's what u really want - but try to remember that everyone has different hair types and face shapes - so what might work well on one girl, may not work at all on another. here's a pic of my BP - and they all looked beautiful!

i didnt control their hair-- some girls arent comfortable wearing it all up or down-- they are already in the same dress.... let them be themselves and choose their hairstyle

I want all my girls to have matching hair styles. I understand because of length this might not be possible but I think it would be more uniform. I like that.

Im having all my BM's (9 of 'em) wear their hair the same way, in updo's, b/c its August and hot and their hair would look stringy after just a few minutes if it sat on their necks.

i had rules for my BM's (and they all know how i am so it wasnt a shock or anything). they all had to wear their hair up (i didnt care how, just all up. they got to choose the style). MOH was the only one that was different and she wore her hair all down to set her apart a bit more. and all my BM's had to have french manicures and pedicures. no bright colors on nails were allowed! but i'm nuts so dont go by me!

Same here, plus my girls all have different lengths of hair. Its too hot in August to have the girls with long hair have their hair down (unless that is what they want to do, but i doubt that anyof them will) & the girls with short hair can't put their up. All I ask is that they look good enough to take pics.

I let my bm's decide how they wanted to wear their hair. They all ended up putting it all the way up - but it was their choice.

No, my BMs can choose how they want to wear their hair. I want them to look and feel their best, and they can't do that if they are uncomfortable with their hair style. We're all going to the same salon to get our hair done, so I don't fear anyone will do something crazy or wear it in a ponytail.
I'm really uncomfortable wearing my hair all up b/c I have a really round face (and look silly)... I hated being told I had to wear my hair all up, so I'm letting my girls wear their hair how they are most comfortable.
I'm not worried about the pictures - the most important ones are family and the couple, anyway. I'd rather have them looking / feeling their best and being comfortable than have a perfectly uniform bridal party. My girls are all unique - different shapes, sizes, etc. - that's why I like them. I don't want to force them to all be cookie cutters on my wedding day. They're wearing the same dress and jewelry - that's more than enough uniformity for me!

They picked their own dress, so I'm letting them pick their hair. I just told them to make sure it looksnice and can survive a 12 hour day!

I told my girls to wear their hair however they felt comfortable. I personally would hate it if someone told me how I had to wear their hair. I also told them it was up to them if they wanted to get it professionally done.
