I want my girls to have all the same style hair, I told them they all have to wear it all up, all half up half down, or all down. Do you think thats crazy? I just thought that if they all have diff hair styles my pics would look messy.
Does anyone have any pics of there bridal party?

I can't remember but I think I asked for them to have it all up...I wanted them to get it done also it was the middle of July and I thought all up would be best anyway

Because my wedding is in August, I have suggested that all my BM's wear their hair up for ease and comfort.

Nope, i dont want them to wear all the same style actually...not everyone looks good with the same hairstyle, so thats something to consider. Honestly i dont know why ppl say that if girls have their hair different it will look messy. I like when girls all look different and they show their personalities. They already have the same dress on.
Also, if you are gonna request them to wear their hair a certain way, then alot of times girls pay for their bm's to get it done...remember not every girl would want to pay to get her hair done

That is true. I was just looking at the other girls pics and It seems fine, it doesnt look messy at all. If they are paying for it to get done, I guess its better off they get what THEY want lol otherwise I would pay for it. Good point.

i mean it depends on how your girls feel, some girls are like whatever you want us to do and others are the opposite lol...If they have no problem with it then bring it up and see what they think. Personally i dont think it looks messy, but im also weird and don't like ppl to look too much alike, the dresses are enough for me lol

I'm only having one attendant, so it doesn't matter much for me.
My sister wanted all of us to wear our hair up for her wedding. When we were getting our hair done, my youngest sister said she was very uncomfortable wearing her hair all up, and asked if she could have half up. My sister told her no because she didn't want the pictures to look funny. My little sister obliged but started crying softly because she was really upset. Bec saw how upset she was and changed her mind - she didn't realize how uncomfortable some people feel without any hair around their face.
The pics came out great, my little sister didn't stick out at all.

I am asking for them to wear it all up...but there are a ton of differnt updo styles ....I dont care how its done I just want it up..They all look so gorgeous with their hair up !!

see i would do it for a friend but would HATE it the whole time. I HAAAAATE my hair up and i would like to feel comfortable for a close friends wedding and look nice too lol.

I wore my hair half up half down and I asked my bridal party to wear any up-do hair style they wanted with the exception of my MOH because her hair was too short to get up.

I am wearing my hair down. so I want all my girls to wear their hair up. anyway they want though. bun, ponytail type thing, whatever. matching hairstyles might be cute though.

I let my girls do their hair however they wanted. 4 wore theirs up and one wore hers down. I dont think varying hairstyle will make your pictures look any different. REally you want whatever they are most comfortable with and what will look best on them. SOme people just dont look good wiht up-dos

I don't think everyone looks good in the same hairstyle. My BMs are free to wear their hair however they feel comfortable.

I'm also letting mine do whatever they want. I've been a BM in 5 weddings so far and was in one where the bride 'told' us all to get it done in an updo. I don't know, i just didn't appreciate that. I'm a big girl and no matter whether I get it done or not, in an updo/half-up/or blown-out, I will be in your bridal party with a smile on and I will look nice. I personally didn't mind having it all up because I don't mind it up, but some girls NEVER wear their hair up and in this case, here were her some of her best friends secretly resenting her on her wedding day because she 'told' them how to do their hair. I mean, it's all a personal decision, but they're already going to be in all the same dress, or at least all the same color/style dress, trust me, they will look cohesive and together whether they have the same hair or not. Just a many-a-time-former BM opinion. Hope that helps!!

My girls can wear their hair any way they want. I want them to be comfortable and look like they actually do in real life, not like Stepford Bridesmaids. It's for some people, but not my girls. Some of my girls don't wear their hair up ever. I'm not going to make them do that.
