My girls are in a two piece dress, the skirt is long. I would like it to the floor, but not where its hard to walk. So, what is the terminology to have the hem to the floor but up a spec so they can comfortably walk? I want to make sure they all have the same hemline! Thanks!
Has anyone else told their BM what lenght to hem the dress to or do seamstresses always do the same lenght? Thanks!
I told my BM 1' to 1 1/2' off the ground. When I've gotten long dresses hemmed the tailor usually hems it to the top of toe of your shoe. Hope that helps.
Thanks Susie! I wasn't sure what to tell my BM - they all live out of state and will have their dresses altered at different locations, so I want them to match!
