I agree.. She made it about herself...Similar to what happened with my BM earlier this week.. but it's all good, at least she did it now and not later...
BTW, I am not replacing her, just adding 2 Junior BM....so I will now have more than my FH on my side but I don't care...we have close family friends and family there now...
Good for you! ANd I do agree, a real friend wouldn't pull bs on your special day!

This bm has been giving me issues since the start....first it was the color, then the dress, then the budget, etc. I told her a while ago to please let me know if she can't be in the wedding and she said no, she wanted to be. We figured it all out and it was great. Yesterday, I text her to see if she can go in NOVEMBER to try on dresses and she texted me back 'I don't know, I am very busy working all the time and won't have time....'

Shes busy for the entire month of november!?!?!? Thats a little extreme! I almost feel like she just didnt know how to back out of it. Not to upset you in any way and Im sorry you are going thru this but you are seeing her true colors... She obviosuly feels its not that important knowing you need to order them that month adn thats not ok. As your friend she should be excited to get her dress and stuff.!!! I hate to say it but your better off this way. Who knows what she would have pulled closer to the wedding ya know? But HUGE HUGS for you...

You are right, I think this is a lame excuse and a cop-out. Nobody is ever that busy not to have 30 min to try on a dress....I am not the bride that asks my BMs for 20 million things, I have been planning everything on my own with the help of my mommy, FH and suggestions on MOH. I ask her just to go try on a dress....I would think that a true friend would be honored and happy to be there for me on this day....I know I would have been

Exactly!! When we went for Gina's (LaBellaVita) Dresses I couldnt wait!!!! I was soo excited to go look, try on dresses and for her to find the perfect one for us to wear! Its such a special time and to be part of it is an honor... She doesnt deserve to have that honor in your wedding when she can't even give you a few hours!
