Personally, I would send the 2 who have not responded a quick email saying something along the lines of...
Dear Bla bla bla, I hope you got my card about being a bridesmaid in my wedding. Since I haven't heard back from you, you must be really busy. I don't want you to be inconvenienced by the time it takes to be part of a wedding, but would still love it if you came as a guest. As a heads up, the wedding will be on...... Hope to see you then. Would love to catch up in the mean time.
For me, I'd like to think I gave them numerous chances to remain friends. If you still don't hear from them after this, you don't even have to invite them to the wedding, but at least you tried. JMO
I think that's a great idea. I'm sorry that you were let down by people you thought were close friends. I also wouldn't worry about being 2 bm short, I think you should have people who you are really very close with. Quality is much more important than quantity! Happy Thanksgiving!

YOu should just email them somethign short and sweet saying that due to their lack of enthusiasm and unwillingness to reply to you that they're OUT.

Re: BM 'issue'
i jsut told FH the recents unfoldings, adn how i asked u girls for help.. he said
'u bend over backwords for them and they dont care'.... 'Fu i am moving on...
not emailing them saying i havent heard from u... bc frankly i have done enough between them choosing to reply to other ppl, back out of group gtg's and tell them that i cant hang out with ppl...
fh was right... fu i dont need a headache now....
moving on... now i can really get with my girls for BM dresses!

I know it may be difficult, but I think you should consider them not a part of your wedding and I personally would not contact them again...it it so incredibly insensitive that they are doing this to you, but calling them will just be awkward and uncomfortable for all involved...it sounds like your other 2 friends are true friends! I am sorry this happened

I think that if you ned to put this much effort in they do not belong being a part of your special day. The lack of respect makes me feel the do not deserve even an invite. I am sorry that you are dealing with this .

Re: BM 'issue'
i would cut them off immediately. they are proving themselves to be unreliable and irreponsible. not great ingredients for your wedding day. find 2 new BM's. it's your best and safest bet.
and don't feel bad b/c it's not from your lack of trying to contact them. it's not your fault they don't know how to pick up a phone!

Re: BM 'issue'
after I few more days I would officially write them off you no longer have to ask them or confront them especially since you can't get into contact with them- if anything were to come up for example them eventually responding then you can simply tell them you changed your mind it because they never responded you moved on & got the point that they weren't interested -

exactly i think i mentioned that the gtg we planned for dec 8th one girl backed out of...
as for the other girl that may or may not go.. she has yet to respond to an annual gtg.. if she arrives and MENTIONES it to me i owudl have told her that umm i assumed she wasnt interested and we have all thrown ideas around and gotten the ball rolling.

YOu are doing the right thing (sorry to crash) if you are having this much trouble getting in touch with them now imagine how it will be later. It stinks to have to do that but you shouldnt have to~they should be 'honored' to be considered a close person to you and to be asked to be in your BP and its obvious that that isnt the way they feel...youll either find 2 other girls or keep with the 2 girls who will there for you when you need them
