Is anyone hosting a bridesmaids luncheon or tea? I'd like to do this, don't know if its in the budget, but I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts. Just something informal, at a tea place near my apartment in Floral Park (Swing the Teapot) so I could give them their BP gifts before the wedding. Anyone doing this?

I did do it, but I did not give their gifts I was planning on giving them their gifts at the RD

thats a cute idea.
im not doing one bc my girls are all over the place and it would be hard to get them all together and make them travel since they will be traveling for my shower and bachelorette party.

I think its a nice idea to bring all the ladies together for a relaxing afternoon before the wedding. I don't want them to feel like it is YET ANOTHER event they have to attend though, even though it is in their honor. IDK.

I don't think I can b/c I know a lot of girls are going to work during the day on Friday and just come into town for the rehearsal at the church around 6pm. But I love the idea and I really wanted to do it!

I am, and I might even be doin it at the same place..I just haven't planned it yet
I took my girls to Umbertos in New Hyde Park and everyone ordered pizza. It was really cheap but more importantly we had a GREAT time hanging out and having everyone together without the craziness of dress shopping or anything!
I've heard of that place though and I heard it's REALLY cute!
