I dont want this to sound mean or insulting at all bu I have a problem...
One of my BM is a overweight.. I wanted to have either purple or pink dresses for the BM's but everyone in my family is saying I cant because of my one BM size.. Shes about 4'11 and over 250 lbs..
Does anyone have any ideas of dress types or colors purple or pink that could work...

typically darker colors make you look slimer so I think a dark purple would be nice...like an eggplant. the other important thing is the cut I would think about getting a material that flows and not one that clings. one of my bms is overweight and I made sure to took her when I went to look for dresses

I think cut is so much more important than color when dealing with that issue. I still think you should go with whatever color you like, just make sure that the cut is something everyone can wear and feel comfortable in.
I agree with having her come to look at the dresses!

Defiantly choose a darker color and something A-line. You want her to be comfortable that day as well, so nothing clingy.

If you want purple, then go with purple. What you could do is choose a designer, a color and a fabric and then let each girl choose what dress she is most comfortable in. Goldi1021 did that will Bill Levkoff, navy satin and all her girls looked fabulous!!

If you want you can tell them what color and designer, and let them pick a dress that they feel comfortable in. So all your girls will be in a different dress, but from the same designer so they are similar and same color.

I agree with the other girls, I think you should look into an eggplant color since you wanted purple. I would not change my color for the girls, but I would definitely try to find something they looked and felt great in.

Definitley go with darker at the other girl's suggestions. Cut too... A-line or emire waist will probably be most comfortable on all of your girls. Also, think about fabric. Satin is very clingy and unforgiving and shows everything. Try a fabric that will hide and flow nicely with everyone's body type.

2 pieces are also more flattering...and cover up better in the tummy than a 1 piece

I completly agree with this poster. When I weighed 205lbs cut was much more important than color. Go with the color you love.....
