I got engaged in Dec of last year. In the few months that followed I asked some of my girlfriends to be in the BP.
However, there is one of my girl friends that I was close to for a long time but then we lost our closeness due to our Fh's having a large disagreement (but they have long made up). I never asked the girl to be in my BP because werent back to being close.
Now we are back to being close again (her hubby is in my BP too).
Do you think its too late to ask her to be in the bridal party?

Re: BM question
it's not too late. I would ask her. You might regret it if you don't. Just be honest with her and explain. I'm sure she will understand.
good luck!

Re: BM question
I say no, I say just keep it as is. Its already been some time since you asked the rest of the BP - and being that one is her DH she is going to know that she was an after thought. I know i would probably feel funny
You could def ask her to do a reading or something at church (if you are getting married in a church) or try to involve her in some other way.

You can always explain to her that you are so happy you have redeveloped your close friendship and couldn't imagine your big day without her by your side!

Re: BM question
I don't think too much time has passed at all. I have not asked all of my girls yet and those that I may or may not ask know that I have asked other ones.
Do you what makes you happiest. If she is a friend then she will completely understand why you waited and probably would have done the same if the roles were reversed.

It's never too late. I asked one of BMs about 3 months after the others. It wasn't an issue

Re: BM question
As long as you want her in your wedding - I say go for it!!
It's not like she doesn't know what happened between you guys..so just be honest with her. Let her know that the only reason you didn't do it initially was because there was an awkward distance between you, but you really can't imagine not having her there by your side for your special day!

It's never too late if you want her to be a part of your special day. I went through something similar so FM me if you want to know how I asked her.

Re: BM question
It really depends if you feel that you want her to be part of this day and walk down the aisle with you. Being that her FH is in the party it does sound like things smoothed over but if things aren't the same for the two of you it maybe be awkward.

I totally agree. This happened with me as well and I asked my friend about 6 months before and she was thrilled and honored.
