BM regret

I asked one of my sisters if she would meet up with me so I could ask her something important in person. She said she was too busy, she was also rude about it and said 'I don't know when you expect me to find the time'. She said I should come to her house if I want to talk to her about something.
So I said I guess we're both busy and let's talk on the phone. She said no, if this is important enough to you, you'll come to me.
I asked her anyway in an email since she wouldn't call me back if she'd like to be my MOH and that I love her. She never responded to that question, she was just bitchy again in response. My sister really has problems. She's been through a bitter divorce and she's angry at everyone.
I feel bad for her, but I actually lucked out by her not responding. I can only imagine how she would have acted in the events to come for wedding planning.

whoa. i'm so sorry that this happened to you. my sister is my MOH and i couldn't imagine it being anyone other than her

Re: BM regret

all of my BM are family and i love them all. they are also so not inclined to drama. 2 are FH's sisters and he would kill them if they started any drama.
if this were to happen to me though, i don't know if i would kick them out. i think it would have to be something really bad to kick them out.

wow I cant even believe people's SISTERS would cause grief. that's sad. I guess I don't get it bc I'm an only child.

My attitude about BPs is..why add stress?

I'm so bad w stuff like that, that I eliminated mine and I;m only having a MOH (my BFF) and a BM (FH's baby bro)

I threw one of my bridesmaids out.. along with her groomsman husband.

No we are not friends anymore.

I had to make a choice - suffer through it. Or put a stop to the drama but lose the friendship at the same time.

I decided to end the friendship..

and I couldn't be happier.

omg good for you!!!

i only picked my MOH - my cousin and she's not going anywhere because family is family :P

and 3 other girls... 1 girl already is out on her own accord, and thank goodness because i only asked her out of 'respect' because we've been 'friends' so almost 12 years...

I couldn't be happier that we had a falling out too though so i understand where you are coming from!

sorry to hear your bm is such a debby downer/pain in the arce.
I know this can be extremly frustratuing especially when you are planninng a wedding... I guess the best thing to do is try to remember the good qualities about her and her friendship, some ppl can be intense but have really good hearts... you must've picked her to be part of your day for a reason.
I would just deal with her on a need to basis when it comes to your wedding so not to aggravate yourself. Unless she does something really bad you can't just kick her out. Or maybe say something to her like 'you need to stop and tone it down a notch' ..lol... If honestly is not the best policy with her, just like i said keep it on a need to deal basis. You cant change people you can only change your reactions to people dont let them bother you.

Re: BM regret

that stinks :(

no regret.... yet LOL

I mean I picked my niece - she is anti-social in certain ways- i wish she would step up her game, but it's just not her personality...

but i love my ladies- i picked the people who mean the most to me -

so regardless of how the preform their duties, I want them to stand for me on my big day
