BM VENT

I have 1 BM who has so far complained about everything-

She complained about the dresses-even though the girls picked them out-
I asked that they not wear gold or bronze accessories- ( dresses are brown) so this morning she decides to tell me that she thinks that silver is ugly with brown-I found that rude-

sometimes I hate people!

People always seem to have to vocalize their opinion when it comes to a wedding....Never understood the reasoning!!!

I agree! This is your wedding and if you want silver accessories, then she'll just have to deal. My sister who is a BM is like that and I reply constantly, 'It's my wedding and this is what I want.'

Tracy, don't let it upset you. There is always going to be at least one who is going to be difficult. If you want silver that's what you do, it's your wedding!!!!

some people are never happy, she may also be jealous! I'm sorry you have to go through this! Even if you changed to gold accesories I doubt she'd be satisfied!

I made it painless for myself, i told my BM's that it was my wedding and therefore it was my way. I picked the colors, the dresses, the jewelry and the hair. No one had a problem with it. They actually all thought it was better this way, less for them to worry about. They get to pick the shoes though because i want them to be comfortable.
