Re: BM vent...
MB, better she drop out now and save you the stress than later on down the line. See how much she values your wedding...via email... She could have at least called and let you know her situation. WOW, one less bo-k and gift to pay for. Everything happens for a reason. All the best and enjoy the rest of your planning. One monkey don't stop no show

Wow! Over email!! That is wrong. She should have called or told you in person. Hope she had a valid reason!

Re: BM vent...
That is so horrible. I can't believe she just couldn't talk to you in person. I'm sure she had a good reason but she could have been an adult and told you upfront and not a few months from the wedding.

Re: BM vent...
nope, no reason.... and I'm sure it's because of her bf.. he's a fat loser who makes stuff up to her about me, because he doesn't want her to have any friends.. mind you, I just met him, by chance, last October, in which case, he went back and made up some crap that I was talking about her to someone.. I couldn't believe it when I heard it.. whatever...

Marce..
You know how I feel about you and I just started speaking to you recently.. You are the best and have the best heart. She is losing a friend I hope in this case VIA email.
Where is her sense of respect ? I think its an honor to be asked...
Tell her to really reflect on her decision..
What a loser!

Re: BM vent...
Now, seriously, I have heard stories of women putting their friendship to question over a man, but this is crazy. She obviously did not want to be in the wedding. I find it hard to believe that a grown woman has a man letting her change her mind over being in her friend's wedding. No one can tell me anything that could make me not want to be in my friend's wedding. I would ask my friend, if my BF told me something before I jumped to any kind of conclusion.
Did you respond to her, asking her for reasons??

Re: BM vent...
That is horrriable did you girls order dresses yet? I know you don't want to bother with her but I would have to call her and give her a piece of my mond, but that is me. The girls in my BP are so close to me I would need to know why, and if you said why you thought it was then you tell her to grow a spine or her man will rule her for the rest of her life

Re: BM vent...
Its an honor to be asked to be apart of a bridal party and you wanted her to be standing with you on your day, she could have had the heart and courage to tell you to your face. That was really wrong of her and especially with no reason. (If she lives far away, I honestly wouldnt take that as a reason because I have a matron that lives in FL, and a bridesmaid that lives in NJ and both are beyond excited to be in my party)
I definatly agree with R&T she should reconsider her decision.

Screw her.
You don't need her or that crap now. She's not worth it and you're too worth it!

Re: BM vent...
Crap, Marcella. Sounds like you're better off without both of them...if she doesn't have the balls to stand up to her BF when you're her friend...then she ain't no friend, my friend.

Re: BM vent...
That was very rude. She should have at least called you or better yet spoke to you in person...whatever the reason may be. But its her loss. It is better that she dropped out now than to stress you later. Guess what ... the show still goes on without her!!!!!!!! So try not to let this upset you to much.

Re: BM vent...
She is way wrong to accept the honor and then back out via e-mail. I would be hurt/mad as well. Unfortunately for her, she is now losing a good friend who cares about her and is left with a jerk who lies to her.

Re: BM vent...
Wow - that is awful! I'd either let her go as a friend and cut all ties - or call her out on it! Call her up and ask her for her reason and why she was so immature in choosing email!

Re: BM vent...
Thanks guys.. you've made me feel a whole lot better.. It's weird, but I'm not even taken back or saddened by it.. I'm moreso glad that I don't have a two faced person playing such a role in my wedding.. it makes me ill.. My sister is more upset over this than I am.. She wants me to write back to her, but honestly, for what? at this point, what's been said has been said and it's not like I want her to be in it now after havign done this.. so what's the point.
this was her email 'Dear Marcella, I just got an E mail from Barbara regarding the dresses. I don't want everyone to be held up on my account therefore, I need to tell you that I will be unable to be in the wedding. I hope your day will be as perfect as you have always dreamed it would be. Jessica'
