My cousin is getting married on Sunday, and I was just told that none of the girls have their dresses yet!
The dresses came in July, they all went for their 1st fitting & then were told August/Sept for 2nd fitting. They have been calling the bridal salon & have been getting the run around since August! None of the girls had their 2nd fittings & they all were told they had to pay for their dresses/alterations in advance!
What do you think we should do??

This is a highy reputable bridal salon in Westchester.....so no fear LI ladies!! LOL
Good news is my Step-Mom was there with my Grandma getting her fitting & the owner came up to her & apologized for what happened and said the dresses were being worked on as they spoke & they would be ready by Friday!!

OHLORDY, I got my dress at a very reputable salon in Westchester and they are also doing my alterations. Please tell me this place is not in Scarsdale and the name does not start with an 'F'...
LOL, don't worry ladies, its was not 'F's' in Scarsdale, it was MeMe's in Larchmont, and I don't mind saying the name now that the wedding is over & done with...LOL The dresses were picked up and most of them fit 'ok' but the rest of the girls had to pin them and secure them w/ that clothing tape!

Oh yeah, I would do this. You paid for it, they should give it to you. I wouldn't call anymore, just go to the salon. Raise a little hell.

PHEW!!! Thank god it wasn't 'F's'! They've been nothing but great so far so I would have been surprised, but I was a bit nervous nonetheless.
I called MeMe's to see if they had a few dresses and I always had a hard time with them on the phone so I never went to their store. At least they all got their dresses!

I agree thats a great idea. I also think you can pull off all the girls buying dresses in the same color.

LOL!!! my cousin and MOH had some problems with F's nothing major but I was a little nervous! I went to meme's to look for BM dresses for my MOH's wedding, wasn't too bappy with the place so I wasn't about to go there. Thanks!!!
