How many of your girls are getting their hair done? Is it ok to say Id really like you to wear your hair up? Are any bms freaking over pricing - like 85.00pp?

I needed three people in order to book my hair and make-up lady. So me, my mom, my MOH and a BM offered to get it done so i make my minimum. I'm giving each of the $50 towards their hair though becuase the $80 is a lot.

I'm all about emphasizing individuality so my BM's all have different dresses (same color) and I'm letting them get their own shoes and jewelry. Accordingly, I'm letting them decide what they want to do with their hair as well, just as long as it's not too similar to mine. They have told me some of their ideas about how they want their hair and they all sound great. As for pricing, they're not really freaking out too much b/c I gave them the option of doing it or not. Most of them are opting for hair, but not makeup.

I'm paying for all BMs hair and makeup. They don't have a lot of money and I figured it would be 1 less thing to worry about.

I gave my BMs the option of doing hair/makeup although now that I've thought about it I really would like them all to do it... but I won't force them.
The lowest we got quoted was $75 for hair and $60 for makeup and 3 of my girls are cool with that, 1 probably doesn't want either, and one wants hair but not makeup (she went for a trial but ended up doing her own makeup for her sister's wedding and her makeup usually looks great in pictures so I'm not too worried). I didn't ask my new BM about hair/makeup yet but I think she probably will go for it.
I'm not requiring any particular hairstyle, I just want them to look nice and polished in pictures. It might look a little weird for all BMs to have hair/makeup done except for one. I might consider subsidizing part of the cost as part of their gifts.... we'll see

I'm paying half for their hair, I had to put 1/2 deposit to book the stylist so it kinda just worked out that way. I'm considering paying for all of it, but it really depends on my financial situation by that time.

My hair is going to be $75 pp too, but my makeup is expensive $100 pp. Soo..I'm considering paying for their hair in full but not the makeup unfortunately there's no way I can afford it.

thanks for the imput. I am so broke its ridiculous and have been out of work. I only have 2 to worry about right now...one sd she doesnt hAVE THE MONEY so im gonna see bot paying forher...and the other i can never get a hold of...
the thing is they are from oos...formerly of ny...and for one of their weddings hair was 20 bucks!

Every person i have contacted charges 100 for BM hair and 100 for BM makeup..its alot of money for them!!! I think its ridiculous

I'm saying they don't need to get their hair or makeup done. It really doesn't matter to me but I know my sister/moh and best friend will. I think that they will feel more comfortable if they pick the style and it's a lot of money.

I left it up to them. I'm not sure how I want their hair yet, I am thinking all up. but other than that they can do what they want.

i discussed it with them..they know they can go on there own but they are all choosing to get there hair and makeup done at my house that day...they are paying for it but i am not picky about how they have there hair or makeup..they can do watever they want..i want them to feel comfortable with how they look

This is a tough one. I felt the same way...I wasnt sure if it was wrong to ask all the girls to get their hair and nake up done bc it really is expensive. I ended up telling them the price for hair and make up and then telling them it was their choice. I explained that I knew it was expensive and they were not obligated to get it done with us BUT that they had to tell me whether they wanted to or not- bc I needed to sign a contract. All of the girls except for one said yes- because they wanted to be part of that whole experience- getting it done all together and hanging out. But I left it up to them.
I know some girls offer to pay for the girls services but I really wanted to get them a special gift for the day of and I can't afford to cover all 6 girls hair and make up and get them a gift.

I really wasnt sure what to do about this...but I told my girls that I would like it if they had a certain style...one I knew they would be able to achieve on their own...and it turns out that most of them actually want to go and get their hair done...but they are all going to different places

i'm giving my girls free reign over pretty much everything. they even got to choose their dresses (just gave them the color and length and asked them to clear it through me first). so i'm not requiring them to get their makeup and hair done, but i'm giving them the option. i'll have a hair stylist at my house, but at this moment i'm doing my own makeup, so the girls are free to use what i'll have there, look for their own, or not even bother. i know a few are interested but others aren't. my sisters, for example, are just wearing their hair down.
