Bnjoyful - Michele31 asked me to pass this info to you
Regarding my seaside-themed suncatchers as wedding favors. I found some initial ideas on this site - http://www.suncatchers.com/toppage12.htm However, I did not order from them. I only requested a sample, to see what the quality was like. I actually got a better deal from Diana at Crystal International Gifts in Massapequa. She ordered the suncatchers in three different scenes, boxed & gift-wrapped them, with personalized ribbons with our names and wedding date - all for less than $4/per item. This was well worth it to me, b/c I would have paid nearly as much just with shipping from the online site, and that did not include boxes or gift wrap. Feel free to give her a call for prices/ideas. Her number is 516-796-8530. Also, feel free to email me if you have any questions - [email protected] Good luck!

thanks for the info..funny, I went to that place on Sat. to look at invitations!!! That price is still out of my price range...I know most people give favors, but mine is going to have to be something simple. It is not mandatory, just a nice gesture for those attending your wedding..I'm sure people won't mind that I'm not spending $4 on a favor that they most likely will toss in a drawer anyway. Thanks for the info though...I can see maybe if I can get them for less...I really wanted to put the favors (whatever I choose) on the tables. Is that not a good idea?? I'd rather not have them wrapped to take home.

Bnjoyful - get a price quote without wrapping
I completely understand the need to simplify and cut costs. You may call Diana just to price the favors anyway - without wrapping. Wrapping is not mandatory. Or, check out that website I recommended - his prices may have changed, and maybe he's worth it, since he doesn't offer wrapping services. It is perfectly acceptable to place the favors at the place settings. The only dilemma that arises with doing so is how your guests will know if the favor is one per person, or per couple. Good luck!

I am giving one favor per envelope. So one per couple or one per single. That is the way I was told to do it. We got great candles from Diana! And we are getting AF suncatchers for the Rehersal but we aren't getting them boxed they are just going to be put in small clear bags with curling ribbon. We thought it was a nice gesture to do b/c my Fiance parents are inviting all out of towners to the dinner. We really liked the Ensigna on the suncatchers but we thought that not eveyone would appreciate them so we are getting candles for the reception, but the way diana is wrapping the candles will just add to our table!! yeah!
