board drama

I am sad to see that there has been some board drama with hurt feelings on the BHB boards..it's about a country club venue not being liked by all..I hope that doesn't happen anymore..just wanted to share..

I agree. Remember if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all

i agree that people shouldn't make nasty comments about vendors that could hurt some of the girls feelings. However, I do feel like we all have a right to say if we didn't like a vendor...we should be able to say what we feel...just do it in a respectful way.

totally agree with this. it is so hard to give input sometimes, because sometimes what you say hurts feelings.

i know i'm a guy and all... but i have a big family, and all my friends are older and have been married. i have been to a ton of weddings, which means i have been to a ton of venues. i have an opinion on every single one. but i would never hurt someone's feelings by being brutally honest... unless they asked me directly, to be brutally honest. on a thread... if i didnt like the venue they were talking about... i would pass over it.

ITA! people need to learn to be more tasteful with their words. they can be honest in their opinions but there's no need to be rude.

and to the girls getting married there!

The truth of the matter is, it does not matter where you get married, how much your wedding is, or who you are inviting. What matters is the fact that you are marrying your soul mate, your best friend, the person that makes you happy. People need to realize that and stop with the materialistic bullshyt.

Yeah I was totally in the middle of that sh*t storm....just to clarify it was just the nasty comment that I was upset by....I totally was fine with the comments that were honest impressions of Crest Hollow (Jackie I'm really adressing that one to you...I totally respect your opinion!!!)

I agree...sharing constructivefeedback is great. But I dont think anyone can call an RH low end. Honestly, the term low end if very subjective. Someone else might think her RH is low end (I know it isnt, but just saying, it might be to someone else)

your response to the thread was right on target - i appreciate constructive criticism but not someone just being down right rude!

and to be honest now some girl has a thread with the word nazi in the title, and that offends me, yes freedom of speech but have some respect!
