My DH is insisting that we board Sandy while we are away on vacation. I don't want to do it to her. We are boarding her at her vets place & I know they will take care of her but I am still scared to leave her there. She is just starting to feel safe with us I am hoping that this is not going to set her back.

Hey! I just want you to know that we board our own dogs at Brian's all the time! I believe it is more traumatic for us to leave them than it is for them. Why are you scared to leave her at the practice? If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to relay them to Brian for answers.
If she gets sick, the plus side is that Brian is there and can treat her.
If you'd like, I can go and check on her for you, just to give you some more comfort...and I'll alert Brian that she's going to be there from such and such date.
FM me with the dates if you do decide to leave her with him.

I sent you an FM. Thanks for making me feel better. Its def more upsetting for me that it is for her. I am very happy that Brians practice boards dogs & I am glad that he will be there if anything should happen to her.
