my arms are the first thing i gain weight on...Nothing you can do but exercise...do weights for your arms, try 15-20 mins a day, or do 30 mins about 3x a week...the arms are the first part of your body that you will lose weight on and comes off the quickest. Just gotta really push yourself thats it.

yeah trust me i know...Infact at the moment i am in so sore bc ive worked out everyday this week.

You know what you should do, on cable theres a channel called exercise on deman...they have a BUNCH of exercise programs, and it works like all the other on demand channels, just press play when you want to do them...They have everything, pilates, dance, cardio, body sculpting, yoga and they even have a 'brides to be' section now.

i have arm issues too ....I find them unsightly and gross...I lost about 35 pounds and beacuse I didn't work out, my arms looked worse after I lost the weight as opposed to before when they were full of fat and not all loose and cottage cheesey (ew). I feel slim in my body area but then I look at my arms and it totally ruins my whole body image. I refuse to wear sleeves at my wedding so I'm going to have to start doing something......

Denice - I have the same problem. Even when I was 'fat' my stomach was still fairly flat (not tight or anything I just never had a gut) but I seem to gain weight EVERY WHERE else....especially in my arms. It suc ks.

Sometimes I wish I would gain weight in a place other than my stomach! I've always been overweight, even as a kid and even now that I've lost 40lbs my stomach is gross and flabby - ESPECIALLY my lower stomach and I get upset cause I'll NEVER have a bikini body. The closest I can do is a tankini with one of those like cute short skirts (not the grandma skirts )

ugh i hate it, even when im thin my arms get big, i have to work out to keep them in shape...Just get 3-5 pound weights, not more than that especially if youre not used to working out your arms...Trust me do the exercises on exercise on demand...The best ones are by Tamilee web but shes insane, i never am sore from ab work outs, and im in pain, i showed FH so i can prove to him how hard it is and even he was like i wouldnt even do that lol. If you do even 15 mins a day everyday you will start seeing results right away

its the best!!!!!! sometimes it takes time to go to the gym, getting dressed, getting there, sometimes waiting for machines, then getting back home...this way if you only have 20-30 mins just run to the tv and do it.

I have marks on my inner arms as well, the best thing is getting some weights and doing 30 reps 3-4 times a week. Also I used the Nivea cream that tightens the skin and has helped the lines appear less noticeable..they have lots of good stuff out there something will help!

When you're just sitting around watching TV, lift soup cans. It sounds silly but it's about 2lbs and eventually, if you do it consistantly, your arms will firm up.

There's also scar cream out there somewhere, I can't remember what it's called, but it works on lighting the apperance of stretch marks and it really works too (I have some on my stomach from all the college wieght I gained, sexy huh?, and the cream made them so much lighter and barely noticeable.) I'll try and remember the name of it....

Try carrying things more. Be more conscious of it. For me, I have to tote my 15 lb laundry detergent to the laundry room (we have the mondo sized one b/c we're lazy and buy bulk. )

But anyway, I made a point of picking it up and down a lot, and noticed the next day that my arms were sore.

If I carry my dog around under my arm (kinda like how you'd carry a football) I notice the next day that my arms are sore too.

I don't necessarily think you HAVE to go to the gym to tone up. Just be more aware of things you can do around the house that involve using your arms. It will work!!

Re: Body in dress

I read from another LIW-er that cocca butter lotion worked really well on strech marks. So I went out and bought a bottle at Target and have been rubbing it on my stretch marks and I can see a visable difference -- go get some!
