Front page on www.newsday.com says the body found earlier today is the missing teacher. The article isn't even updated yet. They must have just posted it......

According to Newsday, there will be a press conference later tonight when the police will release more info. In the meantime, her husband is in custody.

Breaking News BODY IDENTIFIED AS MISSING TEACHER Police have confirmed that the body found in a wooded area near the North Hills Country Club Wednesday is that of missing teacher Leah Walsh. William Walsh, her husband, has been arrested and charged with murder.
Walsh, 29, was reported missing after failing to arrive Monday at the Glen Cove school where she teaches. Her car had found abandoned with a flat tire along the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, about 13 miles from the country club.

Ugh....this is so horrible. I feel so bad for her family. What could make someone kill another person? What could that poor woman have done that was so horrible to make the husband kill his wife???? Ugh

They must have found something today in order to arrest him. A press conference will be held later tonight, hopefully we'll find out more.

I saw on the news earlier that the neighbor where they live said the police were at there house 2x's over summer for domestic abuse.

youre right but there are a lot of crazy people in this world and we will never know why or how they could do something like this. Look at the guy who killed Jennifer Hudsons family. He shot a 7 year old kid to death. HOW can someone do that?

I just cant even begin to think what that poor woman went through. Its sort of scary to think that it's also so close to home.
So the husband did it?? Or did they just arrest him b/c he is going to be questioned???
