Body Rock

Has anyone used this entertainment company before or know of anyone who has?
I saw them last night and they seemed good but one of my friends said she did not like them.

My cousin used them at their wedding back in January. They were okay. From what I heard they are kind of pricey.
I also have been recieving a million phone calls from them and we tell them they we already booked our Dj...they keep calling back!!!

I never heard them but they called me about 2 million times and that totally turned me off to them.

OMG! They would call me a few times a week after I told them I had a DJ already. Don't get me wrong, I saw them in a showcase once and they are really good, but the energy level was a tad off the charts for me and I didn't want that. As far as their performance, I thought they were really good

I met with them and thought they were good. I also saw them at bridal shows. They were at the Watermill last night. I ended up going with Starlight Express cause my sister used them and we both ended up getting more money off our packages.

One thing I have to say is that they never called me back after our meeting. They were my second choice.

I saw them at a showcase and I thougth they were a bit too much. It felt like they would harrass my guest into dancing wether they wanted to or not.

ETA: they called non-stop for about a month after I sw them at the showcase.

I am meeting with Starlight Express and Bravura, both of which have been recommended a few times and I have not heard anything negative about them

Exactly!

I used them for my 7/4/03 wedding at the Woodbury Country Club. A friend of mine had used them and I thought they were excellent.

Well, I had several problems with them.

First, they played the wrong version of our first dance, even after we went over this with them several times at the 2 meetings we had with them prior to our wedding.

Second, I asked that they not play many Sinatra songs because we were having a live Sinatra singer sing during dinner. Well, they ended up playing at least 2 or even 3 Sinatra songs before the singer showed up!

Third, we requested that they play 3 songs. They only played 2 of them.

I will say that no one else knew of these errors, except me and my husband.

The dance floor was packed all night and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

The anniversary dance, cake cutting and last dance were all played correctly and done well.

I paid a lot of money for them, and I was disappointed. But again, no one else knew, so as far as my guests were concerned, everything was fine.
