Re: Body Rock
My sister had them at her wedding two years ago. They were excellent. The dance floor was packed all night. I would also look into Long Island Sound. My sister just went to a wedding where they were the deejay and she said they were really, really good

Re: Body Rock
I think my sister's package was close to 5k...but that's b/c she added the deluxe lights and smoke etc. Not sure that is all really necesary. I dont know the base prices.
I do know that base price for LI Sound is $1500 for deejay and MC...and then there are a variety of lighting packages.

Youycan scale that down. They have the crazy packages and more deluxe packages. They are worth calling b/c they are really good and you dont need to add the screens, drums, insane amount of lights etc.

Re: Body Rock
I really have no idea...but I imagine it's similar to LI Sound which is $1500. LI Sound also offers all the 'extras' so if you really wanted to...you could spend more than a band costs! I think most of the deejays are competitive for the base price . I'm not sure if I will go with a band or deejay...but I know if I got with a deejay...I will avoid all the extras and maybe just add a simple lighting package for effect. I cannot see spending 6k on a dj!

Re: Body Rock
They are actually located on the same block as my FH so we will check them out since they are like right there.
I don't know anyone who has used them though.

Re: Body Rock
body rock's prices are almost identical to Long Island Sounds and Tommy Tunes. i think they quoted me $1650 for MC and DJ for the 4 hr reception and CH. drums or sax was like $650-$750 each for the reception.

I saw Body Rock at a bridal showcase..they were alot of fun..but for me, maybe just a little bit TOO 'high energy'.. im sure they could tone it down but probably just wanted to all facets of their company. They definitely knew how to show everyone a good time.
