Yuck! Beer.....take me to where they make wine and I'm there! lol
ok good stuff, thanks for dropping by
So let's all really examine this...where it all started...useless bickering over nothing.
I stated I didnt' like beer..take me to where there is wine. You respond 'ok good stuff, [thanks for dropping by]' which was later added. THAT was rude, obnoxious and demeaning..not me FIRST stating I dont like beer, take me to where wine is. How about, 'well here is a good wine place to now that I think about it'?
it didn't sound like you were asking for places to go, it just sounded like ugh i hate beer i only drink wine. If you really wanted to know you could've made a post

I dont want to argue with anyone here but I dont think she was saying she doesnt like beer to be nasty...I think just stating her opinion?
I think the peasent comment was a little out of line but whatever
Im just thinking that because of the way she said it? I dont like beer either and actually blue point is the only one I like( so its REALLLLYYY GOOD) but when I said that I didnt want to offend anyone, just simply say I dont like beer but still like going there
i'm not a beer drinker either but will definitely go bc fh will love it and for experience sake (never been to a brewery)- denise keep me posted if we can come with, please

girls, lets relax, we will all have different opinions on one thing or another. Just forget about it and remember most of these girls on here aren't your friends, you shouldn't let their opinions matter too much to you
Thank you, I agree. The problem is that there are groups of friends on here that when one takes something personally the other one jumps on in and it becomes a big thing for nothing. I don't like beer...that's it. If someone takes that personally it's not my fault. How can we ask, 'what do you think of pink flowers because I'm not crazy about them' and 20 people who are using pink get offended, then what's the point of this board?
OK, so let me just point out to you that the reason a lot of us are friends and friendly to one another is that we don't attack people and their preference by calling them trashy... FYI.
You just helped yourself make ZERO friends on this site and on top of that, I can almost guarentee that from this point on, no one will comment on your threads.
Us trashy gals gotta stick together!!!!
thank you, thats my point...yes I give my opinion alot but i say this is what i would do or this is my opinion but i dont sit there and ever knock other people.
And yes im proud to be a trashy beer drinker

beer = jenn's life therefore i go to breweries a LOT!!! Wine is okay but puts me to sleep after a while beer i can go the entire night and be fine.
I am more into dark stouts, berry choco milk stouts, belgian ales, etc. Problem with people not liking beer is that they pick up when they normally have everywhere which is bud or coors which is crap. If people went into a real pub or brewery or even a good beer distro and sampled some interesting unique stuff some of which is VERY much like wine (barley wine, stawberry ale, etc) people would be drinking more beer.

I agree with you there Jen... Bud and Coors... not for me... but some specialty beers or even flavored beers are certainly yummy. In truth though, I wish all beer tasted like Diet Pepsi... I'm more of a liquor girl myself, but I NEVER discriminate when it comes to alcohol... that's just MEAN!

Thank you...to all ladies here, I'm putting myself out there and saying that the trashy beer can thing was totally out of anger. I've had plenty of beer cans in my hand but was instantly angered by that 'thanks for dropping by' response to 'Yuck, beer..take me to where the wine is and I'm there! ' So to any I offended, I apologize. Some can take rudeness for so long I guess.

I really don't care, you always seem to make nasty comments, and im not even talking about me but i see you do it alot. I am up front and if i think you are out of line im gonna let you know...i just made a joke about it and said WOO HOO im a peasant, now youre the one who flipped out about that one...so i guess you can say whatever you want but nobody can comment on what you just said...Ok got it lol

I've never tried lagers....thanks for letting me know though. I guess that one has to have a palette for beer. If I don't like the taste of beer, do you think that I might like a 'lager'? lol

I'm glad that you think you should have to tell people on here that they are out of line...as stated by someone earlier, we all have different opinions and if you can outright say that you are up front with people, to me that's another way of saying 'I'm opinionated' which really goes back to have different opinions.

You miiiiiight. Larger is kind of a heavier beer and it's brewed longer than regular beer, but blue point brewery makes different flavors. My absolute favorite is Blueberry Beer (it's delicious!) but basically larger is beer

If you are out of line with ME!!!! lol i mean honestly if you basically call me a name im gonna say something, i dont get involved when you make rude comments to others lol.
Yes im opinionated but i dont put ppl down for liking different things or doing things differently than i do, i have never done that on here or ever, if you can find me one example then youll prove your point.
But if someone is rude to me im just gonna be rude right back plain and simple. I wasnt even being mean or anything thats the funny part, i was sarcastic bc honestly i wasnt gonna go off, so i did it jokingly, you can't take it, then dont dish it ill say it again...hey you can continue to say ALL you want, but again i will say something back if youre rude to ME

Lagers, ales, reg beers all have a different taste, lagers are smoother and give an after taste that I love. Like Samual Adams and Brooklyn Ale all have a great taste as opposed to Corona or Amstel. Some lagers are made from wheat for that different taste.
