hey bookclubbers, I'm not sure if anyone else posted a discussion ( i apologize for not posting sooner) If not, how does everyone like the book? I'm also curious to see how far along all the current readers are, I know some of you are even finished. Remember we're only discussing 1-8 today

I'm up to chapter 19 I agree that the book is a little predictable, but overall its cute (I think our next read should be a heavier one) who do you think buddy is?

I am enjoying the book and I agree it is a bit predictable. I am only up to chapter 11. I am a bit behind because I was away this weekend and didn't have time to read. While away I did pick up Twilight so I'm excited to read that!

I'm really interested in reading twilight-i know some readers were against it bc it was too addicting, but could that be a bad thing- would anyone be interested in that being our next book? is anyone totally against it? BTW, did anyone try to make the taco soup (if we were actually meeting, instead of posting I would so have made that soup for everyone)

I agree with the predictability - it was a fun read (i did actually finish it) was wondering though. . if you were to put five things on your list to do in the next five years (not including get married) what would they be?

If I had to put five things on my list to do in the next five years they would be:
Go to Italy Have a baby Buy a house Get a promotion at work Get my grandma to move back to NY (she live in Florida)

omg! i love this question, great way to spark a convo. Heres my list, in no particular order 1. travel(italy, spain, mexico, napa valley california) 2.have a baby 3.as an aspiring dancer, I would like to book a few more jobs before I completely quit as a performer (broadway being tops) 4.go back to college for my masters and ultimately finding a career besides dancing that i love -hmm, this is so much harder than i ever thought it would be. I always am living in the moment, I hardly ever plan for the future. 5.lose the last 10lbs that I've had on me for the last 10 years!!!

Re: book club 1st discussion
has everyone completed the book? I'm still finishing up the last few chapters, but I know a lot of you are done. Would you all like to bump up our final book discussion to next friday possibly? I don't want anyone to feel rushed, so please be honest if you would like to keep the discussion as is.

I finished the book and I liked it a lot. To me It was predictable in some ways but not so much in others.. There is a lot I want to say but I am scared I will ruin it for people!
