Book Question - Spinoff to Pam's Post on '09 Boards

Have any of you read anything good lately? I am looking for beach reads or mysteries. I want to download them to my Kindle this week.

TIA!

i love nicholas sparks and james patterson.

I also love to go to barnes and noble and look at their bargain books and see what is out there. I have found some great books I prob. would have never read if they were on that table

I ordered a new Nicholas Sparks one. I am not always sure about James Patterson - some of them feel churned out to me. But he started a new series about a cop in NY with a ton of kids - those books are very good
