Book Recommendation
Hey LIWers!
Just wanted to recommend a new book to you. The writer, Lesley Arfin is a Long Islander who just had her first book published this week. She usually does some columns for magazines in the city and she was approached by a publication company to turn her column into a novel (how Sex & the City is that? I love it!).
It was selected by Jane magazine as the book of the summer. It's an autobiography that speaks about her struggle with relational aggression and an addiction to heroin.
Anyways it's supposed to be very good, especially for people in the school or mental health field & for women in our age group. And personally, I love to support the LI folks!
