As an English teacher, this is the best topic ever!! Please let me know what types of books you enjoy reading, and I'm sure I can come up with plenty!!

For starters:

19 Minutes by Jodi Piccoult (or anything by her)
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
Petey by Ben Michaelson (sp?)
Hunger Games Triology

Re: book suggestion

oops... sorry I posted twice. Along with the above:

1. The Book Thief
2. Water for Elephants
3.The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo book 2-3 as well
4. Stargirl
5. Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and Extras
6. Speak
7. Go Ask Alice
8. Cut

Some of the books suggested are completely 'teen fiction', however, they are absolutely amazing - I promise.
