I haven't posted much on here since the engagement but I am super excited that we booked our reception hall. Bellport Country Club. It was my first choice out of all the places I saw and I took my parents, FH, and his mom for a food tasting this weekend and FH liked it so we booked it and I am super excited. Now I just have to do another 5 million things and we will be all set, but at least the church and reception are done!
i looked at sunset harbor, flowerfields, windows on the lake, harborclub, thatched cottage, the mansion at timberpoint.
I also saw a few places from being at weddings there but I didn't really want to do any place that I had recently been to cause I wanted something special for me.
When I walked into bellport's ballroom I just new it was the place for me. Simple, elegant, classic. Exactly what I wanted. It wasn't the cheapest I saw, but it is pretty affordable considering they give you a credit toward your centerpieces. And the food was great at the tasting. :)

should we start a BCC thread for 2010 brides? FH and I are getting married there as well in October of 2010 and I'd love to have other girls to talk to about vendors, etc!!
