For those that blocked rooms there, does anyone remember or even have a pic of what they call the Family Suite? Is it big enough for me and 5 girls to get ready in?

Let me just say that the group bookings department is PHENOMINAL! They just answered all of my annoying questions!
So for future reference, the family suite is the L shaped room with 2 couches, 2 tv's, etc ... Its shown on their website as one of the pics...
The King Suite has a living room with couch and bedroom separated by french doors

It is approx. 900 square feet. I think it should be big enough for six girls to get ready.

Do you know what the deal is with their shuttle service? It holds 14 passengers right? Do they do more than one trip if more than 14 rooms were booked?

it hold 14... but you only get it when 15+ rooms are booked and im under the impression that they only make 1 trip to the hall and 1 trip at the end of the night.... but it doesnt make any sense bc 15 rooms with everyone booking as a single person thats already over the shuttle limit LOL
i didnt really inquire bc no way in hell were the 15 rooms being booked... we only have 8 with a possible 9th room

I did not like working with the people at LaQuinta. We were not told that we would not be getting our comp. room if our blocked rooms were not reserved, so now we will be staying at our apartment.

Comp room??? I didn't even know about that. I asked if I can book my room and she said I have plenty of time and laughed at me. So I was like OK. And lately I've been thinking about calling her to book my room. She must think I'm dumb as bricks!! haha!

I didn't know about the shuttle for 15 plus rooms!! I'm positive we will have that. You are right though if it's ONLY for 14 people and you need 15 rooms booked.. this math makes no sense!! Haha! What is wrong with them?!?! Their logic is way off here!

either that or i completely misunderstood what they initally told me months go lol but it seems like other girls blocked there were under the same impression

You do not get a comped room with your room block. If you book 15 or more rooms in your block you have a choice of $150 off a suite for the bride and groom on the night of the wedding OR a 14 passenger shuttle.

I think it is $150 per extra trip.

WOW! I'm just shocked that they didn't mention ANY of this to me! I asked if they had a shuttle service and they just said that there's a 14 passenger shuttle! Nothing else! That would have been their window to tell me the details! Arg... guess I have to email them!!
