Booked!!! Finally!!!!!
After a disaster with our original RH in Westchester, we finally found our RH! We booked Smithtown Landing on Thursday, and couldn't be happier! All of the reviews about them are spot on - Donna is incredible! I haven't met Rich yet, but I have no doubt that he is just as great to work with.
We also switched our small, low-key Sunday brunch in June to an all-out Saturday night dinner in November. I've always wanted a fall wedding, and since it turns out I need to take time off from work even in the summer (I'm a special educator, so no summers off here!), I might as well take the time when I want to and have the wedding I've dreamed off. So, November 13, 2010! Wahoooo!!!!!!
Thanks for all of your help with the brunch wedding suggestions! It ended up helping me find SL, and having to re-book our wedding was a blessing in disguise, because we're having the big celebration we really want, and deserve!
