Booked Hair & Makeup!

I had my trial with Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers last night, and booked on the spot! SHE IS FANTASTIC!!! And she does the airbrush technique. Let me tell you the airbrush is so worth it - it is so light. I had another trial with 'normal' makeup and while it looked great, it felt really heavy and caked on.

I'm so relieved to have this off the list. I can't believe how far in advance people are booking their makeup/hair these days. Every 'timeline' you see says not to worry about hair and make up until 2 months before. JN was booked for my date and Jennifer was the only other airbrush artist that I was aware of. She is definitely worth the look!

Glad to hear that you found a hair/makeup person you like!

I recently had a trial and booked Jennifer, also. I loved the airbrush-my problem skin actually looked nice. Jennifer is such a sweetie, too-very patient, very accomodating to what you want, and very good at what she does.

By the way, Shamma, did you know that you are a star? Jennifer was very happy to show me pictures of brides she's made up, and there were a couple of you!!!

ss2002 I loved Jennifer from the moment I met her, so patient and easy to work with. She listens and she is very sweet. She came to my house on my wedding day and gave me a wake up call. She was there before any of us was up....I was so frightened I thought I was late...

Sorry, after the post yesterday I wasn't on the board for the rest of the day. I, too, liked Jennifer from the moment I met her. She is very good at what she does, and I agree very patient. The airbrush was great on my problem skin as well. Regular foundation was too heavy on me to get all the red out of my complexion, I think.

I don't have any pics, unfortunately, we're not that technologically advanced yet, but hope to be soon!

Yes, she did both hair and makeup. My hair came out beautifully. I told her what I had in mind (half up half down) and she did a FANTASTIC job.

I showed her a couple of pics of what I had in mind, I wanted a combination of certain elements in each, and she listened to everything I had to say and then some.

As you can see, I highly recommend checking her out.

I had to wait 3 weeks for her as well, which made me a little nervous, but as it ended up, she was worth the wait.
