Booked my Florist!

Another CHECK! I booked with Roots, Flowers & Treasures in Port Jefferson!
Cori is so awesome to work with and she totally took my vision and ran with it! I'm getting exactly what I want at the most reasonable price! I wanted to use a small local business and they came highly recommended by my venue. I'm a happy Bride!

Thanks girls! I'm really excited! We set a budget for flowers and we went in there knowing exactly what we were willing to spend at max. We never even told her the budget. Not only are we getting what we want but we came in at about $1,000 below the budget we set!

Here is what we are getting:

5 bridesmaids bo-ks
1 flower girl pomander wand
4 GMs bouts
2 Dad bouts
2 ring bearer bouts
5 wrists corsages for Moms, grandma and god mothers
9 centerpieces- Bird cages filled with hydrangeas (I provided the cages that I got from Etsy), mason jars with hydrangeas and tea lights. 3 jars and tea lights per table.
Hanging mason jars-some filled with flowers and some candles, for the trellis during ceremony.
Nothing for the dais. We will use BM bo-ks.

I'm doing a brooch bo-k so no flowers for me. I think I just may add a toss Bo-k if I decide to throw one.
I spent $100 on 9 birdcages and the rest I'm getting from the florist. It all came in at $1,000

That's great! I know I will come in no where near that price! I'm too over the top! LOL FH gave me a budget of $3500 which I rounded to $5000, for flowers/decor. And my dad just told me, he is giving me $3000. SO it will be nice, hopefully.

It's VERY easy to spend that much on flowers. LOL. I know that having small, low centerpieces helps with the budget and for my venue, it's more appropriate since I'm having at max, about 90 ppl.
Hey, if you can be over the top for $3500-$5000, that's awesome!
