I feel sooooooooo relieved! After asking a million different people about their eparties and finding out that almost every single place is not handicap accessible (for my grandma), we finally booked a place! It's a VFW hall in College Point where my parents live. Plus one of my friend's dads is a member so we got a discount. I'm so happy! We're doing it March 22, 2008 - the day before Easter. We're going to do a Spring theme - pastel colors and tulips and stuff like that! Just had to share!
YAY our eparties are the same month! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your idea for a spring theme. Tulips are my favorite flowers so I know its going to be absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to hear all the details!

the VFW halls are great to have a party PLUS they're not an arm and a leg!

I dont know... you'd be surprised though. Westbury Manor isn't fully handicapped either. We had to have our wedding in the afternoon partly because if I had it at night the cocktail hour would have been upstairs and my grandma would never have been able to get up there!

I jst saw this post, congrats ANG!!!! If you are doing the easter theme why not do something with the idea off hidind something, in place of the eggs. Favors can be something with baskets. Sorry ideas rolled in.
