We booked our hall earlier this week, but I don't know what happens from here. I feel like I should be in constant contact with these people, but then I feel like I shouldn't. When am I supposed to really start spending some time with these people?
Congrats on booking your hall. Great choice. I am having my wedding there June 9th. I think that the only time you need to be in contact with them is closer to your wedding when it is time to plan your menu and when making your payments.

you dont' need to be in constant contact with the hall. remember, while this is your only wedding and you've never done this before....they do it every weekend, and know what they are doing!
when you start getting closer to the big day, they will contact you for payments, and menu selection. besides heading there for showcases and tastings, and the ocasional payment, you honestly don't need to be in contact with your hall until about 3 mos. before the wedding, sometimes barely 2 mos., to handle details.
