When you book do you have to pay a deposit? If so, how much usually?

We had to put down a deposit - which might depend on the vendor. I think ours was $100.

Yes - I think it depends... Some it's like $500 - $1000... others you need to pay a retainer (whatever the photographer outlines in the contract).

Our photographer only asked for $100 to secure the date...........we pay 80% of the balance 1 week before then the remainder due when albums are delivered...
