Booking Hair and Makeup

Good Morning Girls....
Would any of you book someone for your hair and makeup before having a trial? I want to book with someone but are schedules are coordinating... what should I do?

i would defin want a trial first, especially if i never used the people before

personally I like to get a trial first and test them out and see how they work with my hair and make up also, but that is also because I have gone to alot of great people who ive seen their work before or came highly recommended and then it wasn't exactly what i wanted, it came out good but for me personally just wasn't WOW

i 'reserved' the date for jenn and oksana before my trial ( which is this wednesday actually)

i am confident they will be able to do what i want - i always love their work!

i would do it - just bc you dont want to wait and then they are not available

I booked my hair person before I had a trial, I've seen her work and liked it so I just booked her. I don't want to have my trial until I have my veil and tiara and I can't do that until I have my dress and I didn't want to wait to book her.

I'm probably going to book somone so I can reserve the date. I would think if you didn't like them you after the trial could just cancel.

I'm not planning on doing an actual trial until a month before the wedding. I might get a haircut or something in the next few months and do a semi-trial with that.

I have no clue about makeup. I might try to use somone i've previously used.
