Im soo nervous, im taking my parents to go see westbury manor shortly and hopefully if they love it we will book today....i really really hope we book...once the contract is signed i can finally breath again :)

I hope today went great for you! We booked our venue as well today, let us know how it turned out!
We booked it, contract signed and official!! whooohooo the only bad part is my mom doesnt like it :( she says its not fancy enough for her and it feels to old, its missing the crystal chandeliers....hopefully after she see's it all made up for the showcase her opinion will change....then she started bitching that there are no flowers outside...its winter woman there wouldnt be any!!!!!!!

Congrats! I love Westbury Manor, we are having our reception there. We finalized everything today and love the place. Remember, it is your wedding day not hers. You can't make everyone happy, just yourself! We all have our own issues dealing with planning of the weddings! Wish you all the best and we are all here if you need advice. Congrats!!!!!!

thanks hun, hopefully it wont be so bad...but i did get an idea, im thinking cus im gonna have my cocktail hour outside, i can maybe hang crystal chandeliers from the trees, hopefully now westbury would let me do this
my mother was the same way when we were out looking; I actually loved the Woodlands at the Green and she was flipping out that it wasn't fancy enough so I agreed to go look elsewhere but I told her if there was no where else that I liked we were going with it. I ended up loving the Sandcastle but now shes nagging about other things and I have to constantly tell her that she had her wedding and this is my day (and FH of course). Bottom line is that you aren't going to be able to please every one so as long as you are happy that is all that matters!
