We are booking Peters Pasta in Babylon Village for our RD. My ffil wanted to pay for it but we want to use this as our thank you to all the people who are involved in our wedding day so we decided to pay for it ourselves.
Do you think it is too early to book it. The people at Peters didn't act like it was too early when I called but I don't know.

Re: Booking my Rehearsal Dinner tomorrow
Congrats! Our church won't book a rehearsal date until 3 months before so we have to wait. We are thinking about Papa Joe's in Deer Park. We went to eat there for our year engaged anniversary last week.

I really don't think it is too early to book as long as you know exactly where you want to have it. I've heard great reviews on that place. FH and I just got an apartment in Babylon, we'll have to check it out!
We live in west bab. but we hang in the village all the time, I love it there. We want to buy a house there if we can next year
Hey, I'm in the WB, too. We live in the number streets, up by Joe's market. Where are you?

Re: Booking my Rehearsal Dinner tomorrow
I want to do everything early - the worst feeling in the world is being told 'we're booked solid' -- my Mom waits until the last minute to do things. We're so different that way. She tried booking my SIL's baby shower like 2 months before and every place she called was booked.

My whole family grew up on 4th street and my aunt still lives there. We live on 109 by Shoprite and the WB HS

I think it depends on the place
We booked rather early though...January/February for a December RD.

I think it's early....what if you change your mind? What if they go out of business? I'd do it like three-four months before, tops.

They have been there for years, it is a very well known place in the village and my aunt knows the owner so I got a really good price and we are paying for it on our own so price is top factor.

Peter's in Babylon.. .next to the Post Office.
It was just on that show Kitchen Nightmares, it has a total overall, but I have not heard any rave reviews about it.

I know it was on the show and the owner was a jerk, but it is very well known in the village and I love the place.

We are having ours at the restaurant on the grounds where we are getting married. They told us that we can't book it until 6 months before. So we are going to book it next month. Your place might be different.
P.S: I LOVE Peter's Pasta in Babylon Village. Great food and atmosphere!
