How many of you have this booked? I tried to book one at John Harvards but they told me that they aren't booking for 2010 until after Jan 1st. But they put my name and number down in the book and said they will call me back when Jan 1st rolls around. Not sure if I should be at ease with this or go with another place? I really wanted to have it there...

well, if your name is first on their list, you prob should def be able to book it on Jan 1st right? Just stalk them until they book you! LOL
were not sure what were doing for ours just yet so we'll see... but i would definitely call them on Jan 1st to make sure you get the day you want

09'er crashing. I didn't book my rehearsal dinner until like a week before the wedding. I was freaked out that the restaurant I wanted would be booked since I waited so long but they were still able to accommodate us. It was a for a Thursday night and only 15pp. I don't think you should worry.

We actually booked rehearsal dinner already (even before florist, oops) but we needed a venue in Manhattan for 70 people on Saturday night.
I'd say in most situations, you can wait to book but we were having enough trouble finding a place that could hold our huge rehearsal dinner!

I just booked mine the another night...most restaurants told me since the rehearsals are usually week nights they don't book up quickly. So I wouldn't worry.

that place is awesome!! I'd see if they can gaurentee you u will have first dibs on ur rd date..if not then id go elsewhere

I called some places and they also said they wouldn't be able to book me until after the new year. I wouldn't worry if its during the week though. Shouldn't get too crowded!!
