I have a guest room block at a hotel and need to book a suite for me and FH for the night of the wedding. Is this something that is normally included if your guests block so many rooms? If so does that mean I should wait to book it until after reservations start coming in?

Re: Booking the Hotel
I would book the suite so you are guaranteed to have the room you want. Usually you do not need to pay for the room up front. As for discounts based on booked rooms it depends on the hotel-We are using La Quinta in Garden City and they discount the bride and groom's room $150 if you book 15 rooms from your block.

Re: Booking the Hotel
We booked the bridal suite at the Four Points Sheraton in Plainview. I would definitely book it now so it doesn't book up. Like the other poster said, you shouldn't have to put any money down, just a credit card for a guarantee, but no charge. We get a discount on the suite if 5 of our blocks book up.
