Booking vendors for 2 weddings

Anyone go with their friends to book a DJ?

FH mentioned that one of his friends is interested in the same one as us and I thought that maybe we can get a better deal if we book at the same time.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

I've never heard of it, but I suppose that's because none of my friends has been engaged at the same time. Do ANYTHING you can to get a better deal.

My FSIL and I are thinking about booking the same band and DJ and think we can get a better deal by doing so. Def try it!!

Yes, I have heard of this. You most likely can get a better deal.

My MOH went to almost all our vendors together ( we are having almost the same wedding lol) same hall same church same photo, video limos, getting our dresses from the same place. We got great deals!! vendors give a little discount cause they figure they are getting 2 brides!

I guess it doesn't hurt to at least ask.

We went to the vendor a few weeks ago and they basically emailed me back to give them a quote and they will see what they can do for us. I think that his friends are going there tonight.

I wonder if I should send an email to the DJ saying that I am sending friends over to meet with them?

When you call the DJ's let them know that you will be coming with another couple and if you both like and book with them ask if they will give you a better price.
My DJ keeps telling me that he will give a great price to anyone who tells him that I recommended him, so I'm assuming it works the same way if you go with another couple.
