Cake included? What extras do you get? What payment plan will you be on? Where can you take pictures? How early can you arrive?

I would ask if there are other events planned if the venue does more than one event at a time. Also, ask about linens - are they included? Do they have alternatives if you're not happy with the ones they are offering? Lastly, if there are any guests that you know will arrive early, is there a place where they can hang out until the reception starts?

If you're booking a place that states they do one wedding at a time, ask about other events. One of the main reasons I chose my venue was because it does one wedding at a time, but I found out later that doesn't stop them from doing other events (i.e., business dinners, small parties, etc). I called to double check, but luckily they're going to keep me as the only event for the evening. *Whew*

Cost for vendor meals and children? what if you dont meet minimum can they throw in extras?

Congrats! I would also ask if there is a discounted price for vendors to eat, the cancellation price, is there anything that you've seen in the venue that would cost extra. I would also confirm the cancellation policy.

Also, be sure that anything they agree to verbally is included in the contract, no matter how small the item.

I would ask about the bridal suite - what time you are allowed to start your day there if you intend to get ready there. Also, ensure that you can have a tasting of the food before your big day!
