Is their any benefit to booking your flights with a travel agent if you already know exactly which ones you want and youve found the lowest price...(did a lot of research)? What do ya think?

being a travel agent i must say you def get benefits from booking with someone.. not only do they do all the research for you they know most and whats best about the place your traveling too. they have experience and a lot of times we have our own special discounts which are very helpful to you . especially if your booking your honeymoon. we know about certain packages and promos before they tell you online. plus we make many contacts with people in the industry which is a plus.. also if your in a jam and say ur flight gets cancelled do to bad weather - (which happens all the time), you have someone to call to help you out..anything goes wrong or you have any questions we are always there.. HTH. :)
I've travelled all over the world and I've always booked everything on my own and felt comfortable with the prices I got, but that was typically trips to one or two locations. I'm using a travel agent for the first time for our honeymoon because we are driving around france and then going to England, and booking everything is a little out of my league. It depends on the type of trip, but if you're comfortable with what you found, I say go for it!
