ok, don't laugh:

twilight series (i'm 100% ADDICTED, can't wait to start reading them for the 3rd time)

Harry Potter series (used to be obsessed, then came twilight -lol)

Percy Jackson Series (I read on Stephenie Meyers website that her son finished it and she was reading them and she suggested them, so I picked them up, didn't realize they were in the CHILDRENS section until book 3, I bought 1 & 2 at walmart) really good series though.

Night World Series I haven't read yet, but once I'm done with P.J and re-read twilight I plan on reading it. Its what the new show 'vampire dairies' is based off of.

David Pelzers 'a child called it' - 'the privilege of youth' , there are 4 books about his life...

Anything by James Petterson or michael connelly.

The Vampire Diaries is actually a series called the Vampire Diaries. There are 4 are in the series, they were my fave books when I was 13 and still are. They are written by L.J. Smith.

I second these books! Both of them were really good! I also highly recommend The Host by Stephenie Meyer.

The same author has a book out called Love the one you're with... which is EXCELLENT. I couldn't put it down.

I love Nicholas Sparks. He just came out with a new book 'The Last Song'

The Twilight books were amazing! I am in love with Edward Cullen. LOL

Other books I read tis summer that were really quick reads...

One Fifth - Candace Bushnell
A Summer Affair - Elind Hildebrand
Chasing Harry Winston - Lauren Weisberger
My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult
Shelter Me - Juliet Fay
Comfort Food - Kate Jacobs (she also wrote the Friday Night knitting Club and Knit Too -- both great books)

Another vote for the Glass Castle. I read it in 3 days - I just could not put it down. It's pretty sad, but still a great read.

The shopaholic series is lighthearted and fun.

I love Chuck Palaniuk though. He's the guy who wrote Fight Club. I love his other books. My favorites are Survivor and Invisible Monsters.
