So I was at my FH mom's house for Greek Easter and she asked me something about a date to do stuff and I looked at her calendar to double check if she was working and right there it said SHOWER on this saturday.

I am so upset My sisters have busted there ***'es to not let me know when it is and now I do.

Plus my roomate who is also my best friend got home before me yesterday and brought up a big package from BBB and left it in our living room. I mean *** she is one of my two bm's. Why would she not want to keep this a secret also?

Well since then I have gotten suspicious and now my sister needs to 'borrow' my car on Saturday so she is taking me to my hair apointment and picking me up and if we have time before 'brunch at my moms' then we will get a manicure....

I am so sad that with all the work they did AND I have been so controlled and not looked at either of my registries that now I know.....*****

I would have thought the big package from BBB in the livingroom would have been the first give away. Maybe your FMIL put it on the wrong day to trick you.

They could be trying to throw you off. My mom had a fake invitation sent to my house for one of her friend's engagement party. I thought that was kind of fishy. And it turns out, there was no engagement party at all. They just tried to make me think it was that day.

Aww, that has got to be frustrating!!! Im so sorry it was spoiled. I know its not what you want to hear, but i bet you will still have a ball. We cant wait to see pics.

Try not to be too upset. I overheard my mom talking about mine and I found out when and where it is. I'm going to pretend that I am still surprised because I know that she and my sisters have worked really hard. Just try to enjoy yourself!

Thanks girls. When I came home and the package was there I knew it was soon but with only 8 weeks left it could have been anytime in April or May. It stinks but I am still going to act suprised because this is such a big project that they have undertakin all for me!

You ladies are the best and it will be fun and awesome and I am going to post a ton of pics.

I work for an airline so my sister who lives in Texas may be comming and if she does that would be an awesome suprise. I haven't checked the flight manifest so that will still be a suprise.

My Cousin who is also my bestfriend is my MOH and is throwing me my shower. . . well the other day i was on the phone with my grandmother and she was like 'oh me and nadia (my cousin) and mommy went looking at halls for your shower for july then continued on. . . i was so pissed still am that i told my cousin so she knows not to say anything else to granny about it

I would be so upset too! But think of it this way - at least you'll look pretty at your shower! And you'll still have an AWESOME time!!!
