I just found out when my shower is...my cousin added me to an email that was between her and my mom, where my mom says its on April 25th. She cc'd me to tell me that I was invited to Easter, but I guess she didn't realize (I dunno how you don't realize) that the rest of the email was in there.
My mom said its not that day, they hadn't booked anything yet so she's gonna change it...but...if nothing happens before then, then I'm going to know its that day. Bleh...this *****. My proposal was not a surprise and now my shower won't be either

I doubt it was a trick, they were discussing numerous dates where the 3 of us could go out for a girl's day...my cousin sent my mom the dates and my mom said to reserve that day because that was my shower and my grandma was coming in for it.
My mom says she's going to change the date and also she's gonna yell at my cousin for ruining it...I guess we'll see.
What is so freakin annoying is that my proposal got ruined because I was cc'd on an email!!!

I was going to say the same thing. We did that to my sister to throw her off for her shower. It worked like a charm.
I desperately wanted my shower to be a surprise, and it wasn't. But it was still a wonderful day. Try not to let it get you down!
